About Me
Hi, I'm Jaelyn Jarema.
I was born and raised in Boyne City, where I developed a deep appreciation for the strength and connection in rural communities. In 2025, I graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Gender & Health.
During my time there, I pursued coursework focused on women's healthcare, including The Science of Doulas. These experiences shaped my understanding of the impact that compassionate, patient-centered care can have during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. I also saw how often individuals, especially those in rural areas, face barriers to receiving this kind of care, which inspired me to pursue doula work and create a business dedicated to providing accessible, empowering care.
I have since completed my doula training through Birth Arts International, where I developed the skills to support families emotionally, physically, and informationally throughout their pregnancy and birth journeys.
My long-term goal is to become an OB/GYN, with a focus on improving maternal health outcomes and expanding access to care in underserved communities. In the meantime, I am committed to supporting individuals and families during one of the most meaningful times in their lives.
This community has always been an important part of who I am, and I am honored to offer my services to families in the area. I look forward to connecting with you. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
